Open Access Licensing and Copyright

Open Clinical Annals publishes all articles Open Access and are published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License. The CC BY license permits commercial and non-commercial re-use of an open access article as long as the author is properly attributed.

Unacceptable Submission Policy

Open Clinical Annals strictly prohibits the submission of articles that have been published elsewhere or are currently under consideration elsewhere. We uphold the highest standards of academic integrity and originality, and therefore, duplicate or simultaneous submissions are not acceptable. Authors are required to confirm that their submissions to Open Clinical Annals have not been previously published in any other journal or are not concurrently being considered for publication elsewhere. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate rejection of the submission. We appreciate authors' adherence to this policy, which ensures the integrity and credibility of the research published in our journal.

Ethics Policy

Open Clinical Annals (OCA) is committed to upholding the highest standards of ethics and integrity in medical publishing. Authors submitting manuscripts to OCA must adhere to ethical guidelines, including but not limited to:

  1. Ensuring that their research complies with ethical standards and regulations, including obtaining appropriate ethical approvals for studies involving human subjects or animals.

  2. Providing accurate and transparent reporting of research findings, methods, and data, while avoiding fabrication, falsification, or plagiarism.

  3. Disclosing any conflicts of interest that may influence the interpretation or presentation of research findings.

  4. Respecting the rights, privacy, and confidentiality of individuals involved in research studies, including obtaining informed consent where applicable.

OCA encourages ethical conduct among authors, reviewers, editors, and all stakeholders involved in the publication process. Any concerns regarding ethical misconduct will be thoroughly investigated and addressed in accordance with established procedures. By upholding ethical principles, OCA aims to foster trust, integrity, and credibility in independent medical publishing.
